ORIGIN OF THE NAME

"Silvox" was the name of a small Portuguese-American Fado music label. The records were recorded and produced in Salem, Massachussets. They came out in the late 30's & early 40's. Myself being of Portuguese decent and from Massachusetts, I chose to take on the name of this small failed record label.
The only evidence that I can find of the original Silvox record label ever existing is a handful of dusty 78's that I came across in my grandfather's basement. They were buried underneath antique radio's and 70's pornography.
